Stability of the H-index
Paper written by Monika Henzinger, Ingmar Weber and Jacob Suñol published on Scientometrics.Abstract: Over the last years the h-index has gained popularity as a measure for comparing the impact of scientists. We investigate if ranking according to the h-index is stable with respect to different choices of citation databases and other modifications.
CacherBrowser
This Python module try to implement a browser that read files from Internet and return as string the website.The browser caches the files and connect over various proxies to camouflate the IP (Depending on the proxy service).
You can configure the cookies and header parameters.

Phone OFINE
This project is proposes by Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and the course Personal Interaction Studio. They propose to us to make an application to help students in campus life.We decided to do an application that helps people to share goods and ideas. The idea is simple: you write a message for a need or an offer and the phone application tries to find another phone that matches your needs or offers.
This application has done in collaboration with Maoan Zhou and Da Zheng. This project is on SourceForge but you can also download here.
Text analyser
Nowadays it is necessary try to identify several different texts which a company receives in order to classify them and make that each department carry out part of theirs analysis or translation. Our program allows the user to organize the texts with the style which is wanted, to create his own databases with his texts and to be able to analyze the new ones.All this is made a pleasant interface which allows not only to analyze texts but also to learn of the possible committed errors.
This project has been carried out as a project for a programming course in the UPC. The file has a size of 41,2 MBs as it contains two dictionary samples.
Laberynthos
In this work we proposed to discover all secrets that the labyrinths hide and, in this way, to be able to create a program for computer generative of labyrinths and another which solves them. The most interesting part of the work is what we dedicated in search of systems to solve labyrinths, so you will find several methods which we have developed.This work has obtained the prize CIRIT(December 2002), it participated in the XV Young Researchers Congress and was awarded with the prize of research of the AULA Foundation.
Mouth project
Of all him known that a correct buccal hygiene, accompanied of a few visits to the odontologist they allow to sustain a healthy mouth for more time.This system allows to simulate the evolution of the dental pieces of a patient in particular from the envent scheduling engine of simulation.
